Lifeblood Games is a next gen video game development and graphics pipeline technology company with the ability to produce video games, visual effects, and graphics pipeline technology services. The company’s initial focus is video game development, where its RPM™ pipeline technology creates a major competitive advantage.
Lifeblood Games is dedicated to creating “Revolution not Evolution”, through a new hybrid interactive entertainment format, which combines the best elements of major motion pictures, VFX, and storytelling with real time video game technology; creating a dynamic new medium that is akin to living an “epic film”.
With technological advancements in graphics pipeline methods, content creation, and engine technology, Lifeblood is dedicated to being the first to deliver “true photorealism” and film quality animation in real time. Aside from RPM™, Lifeblood Games will produce additional technology including custom shaders, lighting systems, camera packages, and real time engine applications, in order to achieve this pinnacle through “Revolution not Evolution”.
The internal goal of the company is to create real time technology producing results equivalent to Mental Ray or Final Render, while removing the time, expense, and need for pre-rendering for films, games and VFX. In order to make this vision reality, Lifeblood Games core team consists of the very best CG artists, programmers, visual effects, post production and motion picture talent; creating versatility never before seen in a developer.
This versatility creates significant lateral opportunities for expansion into commercial filming, animated films, motion capture services, post-production and cinematic production for other game developers and video game publishers. Lifeblood Games currently offers cinematic and real time content creation for clients.

Marc A. Merry is the founder, CEO and Creative Director for Lifeblood Games LLC. He is responsible for the overall production, game design, art direction, writing, concepts, licensing arrangements, sales promotions, and signing corporate sponsors.
Born out of passion and his need to find fulfillment, Lifeblood Games is the vehicle where Mr. Merry’s numerous talents as leader, performer, writer, and communicator are best utilized.
After learning pre-press layout and imaging from James "Elvis" Pendergast, the father of one of his closest childhood friends, the itch to make interactive entertainment and the concept of Lifeblood Games LLC was born in 1995.
Originally intended to be a sports based company called Paradox Sports, Marc became involved with one of the best minds in game development before his ascension to elite status; Scott Blinn.
Priding himself on his ability to evaluate and unearth talent Marc recognized right away Scott was a star in the making.
Along the way Mr. Blinn has become one of his closest friends and most trusted business partners. Through Mr. Blinn, Marc was introduced to VFX artist and award winning animator Mark Thompson of The Big Machine Studios, and the idea of creating games, VFX, Television commercials, and advertising within one studio soon became the company’s design.
Recognizing the cumbersome licensing fees and overall direction of sports games was extremely prohibitive, coupled with the inherent difficulty in attracting the elite talent necessary to see his vision become reality, led Marc to dropping sports games altogether, along with the Paradox moniker, shifting his focus to the original IP he created in 1997 called, you guessed it, "Ritual Incarnation".
Lifeblood was originally the name of his studio band and he soon realized the broad spectrum of entertainment was his true "lifeblood" and thus the company was reborn and rebranded. Many miles of hard road, blood, sweat and tears have followed to get the company where it is now; poised to revolutionize the medium.
Unlike anyone in games, as he is often reminded by long time insiders such as Careen Yapp of Konami, it is Marc’s rare combination of skills for business development and creative direction that make the company unique.
Humility also serves him well as he realizes none of this would be possible without the great team committed to making this dream come true.
Thanks to the enormous sacrifices and superhuman efforts of the immensely talented artists, designers, programmers and close friends involved in producing the current material released here and in the media Lifeblood Games LLC is now poised to change the business of games, game development and entertainment forever.
