Mission Statement

Revolutionizing the medium: Next Gen Games

Lifeblood Games LLC has developed a ground breaking hybrid gaming format utilizing true cinematic techniques, complex cameras, writing, and innovative technology such as complex and random AI while blending the best attributes and components of the top game genres in one package that is certain to revolutionize the medium and set the bar for all future video game titles moving forward.

Realizing there was a major gap between true cinematic techniques such as camera usage and story telling structure and how to properly integrate these methods with innovative game technology, founder, CEO and Creative Director Marc A. Merry assembled an "All Star" cast with the ability to make his vision for the medium reality.

Other studios have made predictions or promises of creating "true" Next Gen games and technology.

To date: all have failed to deliver on this promise.

What makes us different ?

This is no ego trip or "fairy tale" vision meant to invoke hype or fleece consumers or publishers out of their hard earned dollars.

Quite simply consumers are not getting real value for their dollar and game publishers have succeeded in this industry despite its leadership; or lack thereof.

The phrase "it’s better to be lucky than good" certainly applies here.

The fact the industry is so successful despite these shortcomings is a testament to the true potential of the market and the medium; which we believe is the greatest platform for storytelling bar none.

There is a massive amount of talent in this business but unfortunately it lacks the true direction necessary to guide this fledgling industry, only in its infancy, to becoming the largest medium for storytelling and entertainment on the planet.

We know we have the magic pill to cure all these ills and the means to integrate both mediums into a new hybrid form of entertainment.

At Lifeblood Games LLC we are not going to promise or guarantee we will achieve this goal: it’s a fact!

How will it be achieved ?

Blending true cinematic filming techniques, writing, cutting edge game technology and tech development practices within a new hybrid style of gaming is the key to the company’s strategy for global domination.

Unlike other studios Lifeblood Games is not afraid to take risks and understands the role marketing and consumer excitement play in negotiating leverage; you should too.

Did I really just say global domination? Yeah…you read it right. I did. It starts first with the visual elements.

We have created a custom art pipeline called "The Revolution Pipeline Method™" or "RPM" which translates cinematic models to optimized real time assets with lower polygon counts for in game models with drastically reduced memory footprint (including lighting and shaders), while nearly replicating the results in Mental Ray for organic materials such as skin and bone; creating a near photo realistic effect in real time for the first time ever.

So what the hell does all that "mumbo jumbo" mean?

In layman’s terms it means we produce optimized in game assets replicating results currently only seen in pre- rendered cinematics - allowing you to have far more things moving on screen even faster than current titles without quality loss.

Still too wordy for ya?

Basically it breaks down to this:"To scare the ever living shit out of you in game and to completely immerse you in the world of "Ritual Incarnation" we had to make you believe what you are seeing is real; that these things are plausible in an implausible world."

But how did we do it? I know…I know…everyone wants to know what goes into our "secret sauce" but like Colonel Sanders we’ll never tell.

What we can tell you is how this all came about and what makes it possible to create the first game that is more like living an epic film than a mere video game.

We work with the very best in VFX, films, TV and games.

We are using one of the best game engines for our current round of tests and although we have created the "Revolution Art Pipeline" to enhance what this engine does; what you are seeing is done without modifying the engine.

It is all in how you use the engine and create the assets that makes the difference.

This is what makes our results light years ahead of the pack; and this is only the beginning.

The results you see now are WIP or Work In Progress.

This is not the final artwork or tech.

Not a bad start eh?

In addition to our humble beginnings here we plan to partner with companies like Nvidia to develop proprietary technology to tackle skin, hair and fur in a real time engine with the same realism as any render engine or "Shave and a Haircut" for the first time ever; and we will be bringing out the big guns for this task!

CG Shader Specialist Alessandro Cangelosi, CG Superstars Massimo "Clockwork" Righi, Nareg Kalenderian, and Dario Berruti will be intricately involved in this process in addition to some of the best minds in programming; ensuring our success.

Why will this merger of Hollywood talent and games succeed ?

Working with the very best in film, television, marketing, media, technology and games allows us to see things from both sides of the coin and recognize where and why the previous efforts and marriages of Hollywood and games have gone horribly wrong and how all of these elements should combine naturally.

The medium doesn’t need Hollywood Studios licensing more films for more lousy games - it needs games designed with both of these mediums in mind first; something "Ritual Incarnation" was designed to do from its inception.

What this industry really needs is change; something we will deliver to you - the consumer - in spades.

Power of Consumers

As a consumer you hold all the cards and that is one of the reasons Lifeblood Games LLC will work directly with consumers, utilizing direct feedback in adding features and content to our products in an effort to give you exactly what you deserve: innovation.

We will have an open forum for consumers and collect data from you, the consumer, on what you think of the intended designs, features, and what other features you would like to see added to our games.

This isn’t to say we are lacking direction - far from it - it is just a simple fact that our goal is to satisfy you first.

Consumers are our goal.

Without you we wouldn’t be in business and neither would any of the publishers.

Maybe its time you made them aware of this too!

Cheers,

Marc A. Merry
