Production Process Design

We can help you to set up your in-house pipeline and production design process outside of RPM™. Whether it is your methods of UV layout, unwrapping, modeling, texturing or mapping we can establish your process and pipeline. We have access to experts, that are not listed in the team bio, who have created tools, pipeline tools and applications for Agile Development (scrum) and other tech management practices successfully at other studios which have allowed them to ship to spec and on time; we can do the same for you.

Custom Shaders

We can create shaders for water, foliage, buildings and any environmental asset in your scene including particle FX. This service is available for both pre-render and real time media in photorealistic and stylized formats. We have the capacity to build any type of shader you need.

Lighting

Scene lighting is crucial to create the proper effect for any scene, environment or character. We use only the best film and CG talents with experience in both pre-render and real time technology practices. If you are looking for photorealism, Post FX, or mood inducing lighting in any style or format we can accommodate your needs in pre-render or real time applications.

High Poly Models

We can replicate blue prints or designs of structures from around the globe for cinematics, archviz or real time engines in any style or format. Understanding where extra details are necessary for creating better maps and textures is critical and it’s a process we have mastered.

Low Poly Models

Without a great low poly model your project is certain to come under intense scrutiny for your inability to replicate pre-rendered cinematic results in real time. Knowledge of how to get the most out of your low poly topology is critical. Creating great low poly assets and optimizing these assets is a lost art form. We have highly skilled artists who specialize in this technique without the use of software plug-ins or polygon reducing applications. We can create near identical representations of high poly environment models with enhanced low poly assets that run smoothly in real time without detail loss. Whether you need a medium resolution cinematic model or simply an in game version that accurately represents your high res models we can fulfill your needs.

Textures

Hand painted, photo-based, or a combination of either type is available. Whether your project requires photorealism or a stylized comic book feel we can provide the appropriate textures to fill your need at the highest quality. Normal Maps

Far too often a great hires model is poorly represented in real time. This issue is not limited to the conversion of hires to real time assets but also the translation from hires to med-res cinematic assets. The accuracy of these maps is crucial for achieving the desired result. It’s not hard to look at current games and see poorly defined, poorly replicated real time assets. In developing RPM™ we spent a lot of time focusing on normal maps and enhanced accuracy. We can create the most accurate normal maps possible from various applications.
